Dr. Ron Johnson Jr.

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. is one of the leading voices in the Alliance Defense Fund’s Pulpit Initiative (www.speakupmovement.org).

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. was one of thirty‐three pastors from 22 states who participated in the first Pulpit Freedom Sunday on September 28, 2008. The following year he joined 82 pastors from 30 states. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2010, and Pastor Ron will join a growing army of pastors who are committed to restoring the right of pastors to speak Scriptural truth from the pulpit about moral, social, governmental, and other issues without fear of losing their church’s tax‐exempt status.

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. serves as the senior team leader for Living Stones Churches (Crown Point and Gary, Indiana & East Rogers Park in Chicago). He is also the founder and president of Living Stones College, a two‐year accredited college dedicated to the training of pastors, missionaries and marketplace leaders (www.lstones.org).

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. passion is to see pastors taking a more active role as leaders in their communities. In January, 2010, he founded and directs the Indiana Pastors Alliance, a network of clergy, churches and Christian organizations who have come together to advance and defend the cause of faith, family and freedom throughout the state of Indiana (www.indianapastorsalliance.org).

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. has a B.A. degree from Taylor University and a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University. He is happily married to Marion, his college sweetheart of over twenty‐five years, and they have been blessed with eight children.

Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. continues to be a popular speaker at churches, conferences and other community events. He has been interviewed by The Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Focus on the Family, National Public Radio and U.S. News & World Report Magazine, The Peter Heck Show and numerous talk radio shows across the nation. Dr. Ron Johnson Jr. also writes a weekly blog that is dedicated to bringing a Biblical perspective to the contemporary cultural issues of today (www.reformingculture.com).
